I noticed on the back cover of On the Move (May) a photo of Barking with a footbridge going over the GOBLIN track to a building in Wakering Road.
Can someone please tell me what this building is for NR or LUL?

It's a totally uneccesary 'fire escape'. Of course, in days past, it could have doubled-up as an extra exit and a 'season tickets only' entrance, saving many a long walk. Not allowed in today's world however, now that railways strive for 'world class customer service'.

This foot bridge has seen public service a number of times in the last few years when the underground has been suspended between Barking and points west and West Ham were at home. supporters were directed this way and signs were posted on the platform which often remained in place into the next week. When the track replacement was in full swing it always seem to fall on a West Ham home match.
