I was at Moorgate this morning at early o'clock (7am?) and there was a C-stock in platform three that I just missed as it pottered off to Hammersmith. Minutes later, it was replaced by another C-stock which also had Hammersmith on the blinds. Is this a usual movement at the moment, or was there Something Up?

There was a signal failure at Bow Road and a train in the bay at around 4:45pm - don't suppose they were related?

unless Metcontrol's equivalents were remarkably prescient, it would seem unlikely (unless the problem was an all-day one).
There were also two trains in the Farringdon sidings, so I can imagine that one of them had been stored there overnight. That being said, that doesn't explain why they were putting another one back there...

The Barking bound C Stock I was on was terminated at Moorgate at about 12:30 yesterday due to signal failure in the Barking area. We were put into plat 4 and there was already a C in plat 3. They were'nt going anywhere fast when I left.

Hammersmith & City Line Trains weren't running past Moorgate at some point yesterday due to a signal failure at Bow Road, I can't remember the specific times however.
