Hi guys, I was travelling into London yesterday to meet some friends - (I finally managed to get on an A Stock from Uxbridge. I was sat tucked away at the back of 5103!) and as we passed Wembley Park I once again noted the sidings prior to the station on the left hand side as you travel towards London. Throughout my recent journeys on the MET I have never actualy seen these sidings used. I saw an A Stock on one of the roads there about 6 months ago but that is it. The rails look very rusty and do not appear to be used - I was just wondering if anybody knows if they are used and if so, how often? Thanks in advance Mike

Sorry forgot to add - on an unrelated note! I noticed yesterday that Baker St is finally getting some nice flat screen departure boards fitted around the platform area - I have to say its good to see those awful big chunky screens disappearing and it definately helps to make the station area look a little more "modern" - The destinations appear clearer too. Nice one Tfl

Three trains are booked to stable in Wembley Sidings every week night, but only if they are formed of A stock. In the current timetable they stable just after the evening peak and in the morning all come out by 06:00. Trains stabled there on a Friday evening generally remain there until Monday morning.

Ah yes I remember the sheds being there too, torn down in 2005/6 I think. Have any jubilee line trains ever stabled there?

I often see 3 A stock stabled there. At weekends it is often full (3 roads in use)

It was when there was a big cable fire at Barking and some C Stocks couldn't get "home".

They are too short for S8s - but not for S7s Ooo.... That brings back WTT memories of the first few out of Neasden in the late 40s/early 50s doing things at Baker St. to arrange themselves around the right bit of the Circle.
