A couple of questions regarding 49ts: How different were the bogies? I can see the newer bogies did not have the bay window of the 1935/38 stock but what else was different? Like the R stock the original beamless shoe gear was replaced. When was this done? Thanks

Thanks In 'The 1938 Tube Stock' by Piers Connor, it says the side frames and cross members on 49TS bogies were riveted to each other instead of welded, and the shoegear was replaced in 1960 - 1961.

Thanks for that. Did the bogies look much different otherwise? I'm thinking of making a UNDM.
