Hi all On Wikipedia it says that one 1972 Mark 1 stock was refurbed just before the intro of the 95 stock as part of an idea to run them alongside the 95 Stock. However they were scrapped in the end for financial reasons etc. I was just wondering if anyone had any pictures or information on the refurbed set? Thanks in advance! Kabsonline

One seven-car train of 1959 Stock was refurbished at Acton prior to the 1995 Stock being ordered (1028+1043).
Three seven-car trains of 1972 MkI Stock were refurbished at Rosyth, but this was stopped when the 1995 Stock was ordered. "Most" of these three 1972 MkIs are now on the Bakerloo as three- and four-car units '65', '66' and '67'). Two cars were scrapped because of collision damage). '64' is, of course, from an originally unrefurbished 1972 MkI, units 3203 and 3501.
All these units are different from the three unrefurbished MkI trains that were given trial liveries (1 -blue uppers/white lowers, 2 - blue doors and (3) what became the 'corporate' livery).
