Hello
Yesterday I was on the central line, when I noticed that the two trains what i went on, still had the original seating, windows and lighting. How many of them are still in an original state?? And when will they be Refreshed??

I think the plan is to get them all finished by the Olympics. Not sure how many are still in there original state but can't be many now  |

As per my list of mid-April, they were up to Train 75 - just 10 to go.
This does not include the body end mods, which is a separate programme and nowhere near advanced as it started later.
Note that the W&C trains have had their seats replaced, too, but won't have the window mods as they were 'refreshed' (or refurbished, or whatever) back in 2006.
Also, the AOA "Digital" train was supposed to be de-vinyled this weekend. Watch out next week to see if it has been !

Shame, I never got to travel on the digital train while it was liveried that way. I only ever saw it going the opposite way to me at Buckhurst Hill (but I did that 4 times!).

The quote I received from TfL for the refresh completion was May. However, this probably only applies to the seat replacement and not the full work.

The AOA Digital Train was one of the 92 stocks liveried to promote the Digital Switch. There are a few pages on it.. read from here onwards. Does anyone know if 91017 has been refreshed yet? |

91017 has been 'refreshed' (Train 20 - seats and windows) but don't know about body end replacement.
