There was a suspension of the service today c5pm. As a result, there were trains parked hither and thither. Saw these at Moorgate. I'm afraid I didn't check numbers, the one on the left as you look at it, the one at this end was a single-ended unit. flickr.com/gp/27565507@N06/eX6fSt/

Both these trains departed north at about 6pm as they arrived at Harrow at about 7pm just behind the train I was on. Took me two hours to get from Liverpool Street to Watford this evening. The problem was not particularly a lack of trains but the increasingly evident problem when there is severe disruption during the evening peak of blocking back from Harrow on the NB caused by driver reliefs not being available. The diversion of a Watford train which I eventually got on at Harrow to Rickmansworth didn't help....again, no doubt driver relief related.

Of course there is the outside possibility that you captured the last ever occasion when two A stocks are seen in the bay platforms at Moorgate together!
There is a suspension on the Met between Moorgate and Aldgate over the last weekend of May, but what are the chances of there being 2 consecutive A stocks by then?
