SSR Group Discussion was selected because the C Stock also serves a part of the District line.Today I have observed that some doors in the C Stock have been treated with white film in the interior, largely due to years of vandalism. It can be found on car No. 5559. C Stock 5559 with White Doors by Trowbridge Estate, on Flickr I feel that given the Olympics is near, it is a rather faithful cosmetic measure. But doesn't the standards specify grey doors for new interiors or did they got inspired by the Central line refresh?

The LU Standards at the moment do not specify specific interior colour schemes, unlike the exterior where the livery is very specific. There was a standard that gave very strong guidance on interior colours including Goosewing grey for the inside of the doors, but that was withdrawn some years ago. Some other schemes have been used, such as the D78 Refurb by Metronet, with LUL agreement. For S stock LU reverted very closely to that interior scheme from the withdrawn standard and the S stock scheme is quite similar to the 1990s refurbs of several fleets.

And I'm a bit surprised that only one door of a pair is white, or have you photoshopped to show the difference?

It has not been photo-shopped. Apparently, they were applied as required.

I have also seen this on nearly every door in the car I was in while at edgware road, but I didn't take the number of the car.
