Just got home and found a leaflet for The Rickmansworth Festival May 19 - 20th. It states that there will be "Metropolitan Line Heritage Trains running between Harrow, Rickmansworth and Amersham (Sunday only) with vintage bus service from Rickmansworth Station to Batchworth lock." www.rwt.org.uk/pdf/festival/programme-entertainment-listing-2012.pdfAnybody know what they will be running? Maybe it's a day with only A-stock  |

If only!! Only about 20 or so A Stock left now, and 35 trains required for weekend services. Shame that.

Not sure but probably Sarah Siddons and the 1938 Stock train. I'm afraid a whole day with only A Stocks is not workable now to maintain a proper service lol  Sorry. There is nothing as of yet on the LT Museum website. No 2012 stuff at all yet. I'm personally looking out for the A Stock Rail Tour because I would this that will sell out fast May go to this as well if I can get tickets |

Maybe somebody could get them to dedicate the A stock to the AM branch.... ;D

From what I've seen in the previous few weeks, Amersham probably gets the most A Stocks as it is compared to every other branch. I often watch the trains just before Chalfont Station in the Amersham direction and I would say that Amersham probably gets around 70% A Stocks during the day while the Chesham branch probably gets around 20% |

I'd like to see 5110 and 5234 out in normal service, just as a spot the difference set for people to point out ;D ;D
I'd imagine the usual 20's + 4TC + No.12 Sarah Siddons aswell as 38ts 10012 will be out, but mind you the 4TC has not returned from Eastleigh yet

I'll tell you what would be good. If they brought out the 1983 and 1986 stock trains from Acton for that weekend. Are both in a working order where this would be possible? |

I think they are just DM's and would need a trailer car carrying a compressor or installment of a compressor in one of the DM's for it work as a 2 car.

I'm working at the Canal Festival that day, so won't be able to go on them *again*... I've come to the conclusion I'm destined to never ride on either the 38s or Sarah.
The LTM Friends magazine suggests it will be Sarah and the '38 incidently.

Are the working on the track in Ealing Common depot or somthing? The TfL website says nothing about engineering works on the lines the 38ts will use.
