Evening All, If anyone is interested to have a look, I have recently added some pictures taken at South Kenton to my Flickr site. These are Bakerloo Line and Overground trains, plus a few passing on the main line. They are in the 'Stop Press! Latest Pictures!!' Collection - see the Set dated 11th April : www.flickr.com/photos/train-pix/collections/72157627090322278/This is a temporary collection and they will be there for a couple of months. However, they can also be found in the 'London Railways' Collection in the Set entitled 'London Underground' : www.flickr.com/photos/train-pix/collections/72157626475096102/Hope that they are of interest.

All great photographs, old and new.
Those are amazing shots from the 1960s at time with so many interesting stocks with character. The track and stations look well kept and tidy.
I love the gents toilet on the platform at Finsbury Park.

I've always found the northern end of the Bakerloo line interesting because of the track sharing arrangement with national rail (now London Overground). I regret never having gone beyound Willesden Junction on a 38TS when I had the opportunity in the early 80s working on Acton Lane. I love the gents toilet on the platform at Finsbury Park. No disrespect Routemaster, and I'm sure you made this statement with the best of intentions, but it very nearly made me throw a pint of beer across the room laughing! ;D

There used to be so many oddities on the Underground, many of which have gone. This now reminds me of a time I popped down into an underground municipal public convenience in Soho, during the day, it was full and every urinal taken, but I was the only one there having a pee. ;D ;D ;D

Are you sure it wasn't Swiss Cottage (ing)? Dear god, ignore my smutty comments eh? ;D This is too late for me after a 6am start on-site. "Cape Fear" on the video (the proper original version with Mitchum giving it large) another pint, not the one I nearly spilt, and a whisky. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........................
