These two pictures from the "Derby Sulzers" website intrigued me.

They're of Booth's scrapyard in Rotherham in April 2004.
What stock are these? Are they 59s from the Northern line? I've never seen pics of LU stock in this state before!

I agree- vents above windows, but were they scrapping 72 mk1 at that time?

edit just had a thought- they aren't 60ts (cravens) are they? window, vent patterns fit and what doors can be seen look more like 60 than72

They're definately 72mk1's. Some were scrapped the same time as the 59's.
