......of March.........Unless cancelled..........
There will be a trial of the Olympic Timetable running for some that day. On average a train will pass through Stratford every two minutes. Even so, the TT notice describes it as "Elements" of the Olympic Timetable. So it might be upped or whatever.........
Though this does make one ask some questions...........
Will there be enough trains available in a serviceable condition.
Will there be enough drivers.
And will there be enough leccy in the meter to cope.
I'm sure *they've* considered it all...........

Not all lines are running an Olympic test timetable, only the lines that serve Stratford and West Ham, i.e. Central, District and Jubilee Lines.

If anyone can find a copy of the service frequencies on these Olympic Test nights, I would be interested in seeing it

I'll try and remember to check the notice at work tomorrow, unless someone corrects me beforehand, but I don't think it's anything drastically different in terms of frequencies on the District - Tower Hill reverser's extended to Dagenham East is the major element. I always thought the plan was that the Towers would only be extended to West Ham but the powers that be seemed to have either forgotten there's now a siding there, or they're too scared to actually use it. Plaistow is also available, so the Dagenham extension does seem a little OTT......unless there's an expectation of extra traffic from the east I suppose Before anyone raises Barking, don't forget the entire H&C service now reverses there..........actually, was there something about a certain number of H&C's going round at Plaistow.....hmm......I can't remember now.....

One would think that the the service would be increased, but that appears not to be the case. Between the two peaks there is a reduction in service by five trains - 62 rather than 67 giving the normal 24TPH through the pipe. But services to the branches will have their gaps increased. During the late evening there is an increase of 13 trains which are being run from depot to depot. The test timetable opens and closes at normal the times for a M/F service........

A revised service will operate on the District line from 19.00, All trains scheduled to reverse at Tower Hill, will instead be extended to operate to/from Plaistow or Dagenham East. The Ealing Broadway to Upminster service will revised to terminate at Barking reversing via Barking sidings. Minor re-timings to Hammersmith & City line trains between Barking and Liverpool Street will operate from 19.00.
