I tried it one time on a friend's computer, and I have to say the graphics are quite good indeed. The physics, however, seems wrong, as the modeled C stock accelerate way too fast IMHO (in OpneBVE, it's not easy to go past 35~40 Mph in parallels). Additionally, it requires a kind of good computer. My MacBook (running windows on BootCamp) fitted with a core2duo 2GHz and 8GB of RAM hasn't been able to handle it correctly (the game was lagging at low fps, even at low graphical settings).
Then, that's just my point of view, maybe somebody else could give more precise informations on the game (particularly on the physics side, as I obviously never drove a C stock. I wouldn't mind though ;D )

I have it, it's a very good simulator, very realistic and good representation of all of the stations / the C stock. However, the game really doesn't like you doing cheeky movements you shouldn't e.g. arriving at Edgware Road from HSK, exiting and then reversing back into Platform 3 heading towards Hammersmith, as it always glitches and usually cuts the train in half (bit of a pain). But if you want to stick to schedule and do the correct route, it's a great game

Ah I've got a Core i5 Quad overcooked at 4.5GHz so should be fine on the CPU side. Perhaps your Graphic Card isn't up to the task?
So long as the glitches don't affect the main gameplay then I'm not too fussed! :-)
