As part of some research for a future article on Crossrail/Crossrail 2, I'm trying to track down most of the major post-war reports that covered the schemes in detail.
One that I'm struggling to find at the moment is a copy of the 1974 report that arguably kicked the whole idea off.
Don't suppose anybody on here has seen it lurking somewhere (either physically or digitally) have they?

If it was officially published as a public document in the UK, it should be in the British Library too. Hang on, I'll try UCL's library computer too, they have a big school of engineering, I think it's called the Barlett...
Ah, some interesting stuff there!

I've known it as the Barran Report. Part 2 (trt's ref 12) is where the detail is, not that I have a copy.

Cheers All for the replies.
Basically to clarify a bit more, I've got some notes on it that I made a few years back, but my primary concern then was the orbital elements in there, so I'm not 100% sure they're complete.
So what I'm after I suppose Ben is really a good look at its content again so I can make fresh notes.
I suspect raiding some London libraries as trt suggests may be the best bet.

Off the top of my head, Greenford - Ealing could have been extended onto the North London Line, and the east london connection would have been a tunnel betwen Canning Town and somewhere near Lewisham. I'll get on it this evening
