From memory, Train 452 (A-stock). Fortunately for those on board - in particular the driver - damage was limited.

I am sure that months ago I read on this forum that modern train windscreens are made of armoured glass (I think the term was blast proof or something similar). Certainly in the new generation trains, where the front is all glass, the T/Op will need extensive protection.

The A stock iirc only on the red ends they have missile proof glass anyway?

Yes those cabs suitable for OPO were fitted with missile proof glass.
I hope it doesn't get caged too!
