Having used LM for 10 years before moving back to Watford, I think you have gone from the frying pan to the fire! Customer Service are 2 words that LM (or Silverlink as they were before) never had in their vocabulary.

I'd certainly say they've improved since Silverlink days. At least even the All Stations trains only take 33 minutes!

But they still can't get the Bushey stopping service right. Listening to their stupid excuses on Friday evening about not being able to stop at Bushey due to having to use the fast line, when we all know that the fast line platform at Bushey was rebuilt before Christmas was just infuriating. And this morning, all lines into Euston were up the creek, even the LOROL. I seriously considered driving to the Met and changing for the Jubilee, which would have (eventually) got me straight into London Bridge. It's the one time I've actually reckoned the Croxley Rail Link would be worth doing!

Listening to their stupid excuses on Friday evening about not being able to stop at Bushey due to having to use the fast line, when we all know that the fast line platform at Bushey was rebuilt before Christmas was just infuriating. I'm sure that those sort of decisions are not really upto LM. For example the train that I was on, on Friday evening, wouldn't have been able to call at Bushey as it was formed of class 321 stock with no through gangway between units. So people in the rear part of the train would have been stuck due to the 4 car platform. Surely when only two lines are open the plan should be to get as many trains as possible through the restricted section and stopping at Bushey won't help with that. Passengers needing Bushey can change at Harrow or Watford. London Midland did seem to give up this morning. As reason for the delays was a person hit by a train near Cheddington, but there was no real reason that a service couldn't have been run to/from Tring.

Sounds like LM had multiple problems this morning. I'd not hear the person strike excuse, but did get signalling problems at Euston and power supply failure at Camden.
The train I was on to Watford could have stopped at Bushey, though, because it was a 350 and it was held on the viaduct for >5 minutes waiting for a clear platform at WJ anyway! But I appreciate - it's not always down to LM.

This is getting OT, but just to note that I've used LM extensively over the past three years and have found them to be significantly better than Silverlink, and generally a pretty good TOC.
