I was impressed with this, did a few on 4th february. I think the Stratford (Poplar branch) - Greenwich service is a good idea.

On 14th January, the Stratford to Greenwich service was curtailed at Mudchute in the early afternoon due to signalling problems in the Greenwich area. Not good, though I gather the problem was cleared within a couple of hours. However, given the volumes of people expected to use the DLR (and South East Trains) to leave Greenwich after the Equestrian events - I've seen some reports suggesting that even with the enhanced service, some people may be queuing for 2 hours to get on a train - everyone must be keeping their fingers crossed that there are no technical problems then.
And of course, one of the things that can't easily be tested is how thousands of visitors, not used to the DLR or the Tube will take to find their correct train, pass through ticket barriers, board trains, exit trains at the correct station or to exit platforms so that there's sufficient space on the platform for the next train to pull in and disgorge it's passengers.
