Hey Does anyone know how comes they managed to finish a whole day early and thus able to run services through Farringdon? In the morning, I continued my detour as per Weds/Thurs as I thought the mesages boards were incorrect.... Then I took a gamble and was rather surprised when travelling on my usual route ;D Did anyone else think TFL has made a mistake as the engineering work was supposed to continue till Friday? And finally, does anyone find the new layout of the line message board annoying? Ie the huge computer screen which displays the status of each LU Line. Previously it was easy to see the Met Line status as it in the same place on the board everytime. Now you have to scan from the top to the botom to find the status of the line.... Surely it takes more time to scan the board from top to bottom rather than knowing exactly where your line status mesage will be. I also find it annoying that the colours next to each above/below each other therefore change- just looks unnatural

Hey Does anyone know how comes they managed to finish a whole day early and thus able to run services through Farringdon? Services have been running through Farringdon all week (with the exception of Boxing Day). If, as I believe you are referring to, you are wondering how we ran a full service including through the Edgware Road area: A full service was always planned to run on Friday 30th, but was never made fully public. The signalling work at Edgware Road was always meant to be completed by 29th December, but no harm in playing it safe with such a large project. Therefore, we held off advertising a full service until we were certain it could operate. EDIT: Remembering we are in the "Met Line" area, I see what you mean about services running through Farringdon. Yes, whilst services were running all week through Farringdon, the Met Line hasn't

The system is still evolving, but at present it lists the lines operating with delays or closures at the top of the list (in alphabetical order if 2 or more lines have similar statuses) - with most severe first. So if the line your looking for doesn't appear near the top, then it is probably operating a good service.

Think it's a good idea, although I preferred it when "severe delays" and line closures were shown with white text on a blue background. Stood out much more - surely that was a good thing?
