Quainton really need to decide whether they are interested in preserving that unit or not. Enough of important historical value seems to be being left to rot then broken up recently!
Such a terrible waste when for up front investment they could earn back money with rail tours.

The problem isn't Quainton, a lot of the stock is privately owned and it is the owners responsibility. IIRC that is the situation with the stock at Quainton.

Silver, mainly used as metallic paint, is in fact trendy again, as I can observe on the New York Subway, Toronto Subway and Tokyo Metro.
