Ooh that looks rather good. Am sure you could soon see a wishlist from many readers on here.
1st item from me on Santa's list (in OO) would be those stencil holders on the end of pannier tanks (or inside the cab of some electrics) that hold the three digit reporting numbers.

This CAD stuff looks to be catching on! Superb work. It opens up all sorts of possibilities. A Sleet Loco perchance? ;D

Glyn, join the Q. I have drawn up 3D models of trackside cabling with 4 and 6 hangers, hope to do a test print-out soon. Possibly 1973 TS in the works for Acton.

How about a Cravens 1960 car. You'd have people queuing up for one of those as it had much wider use. (That's code for saying I REALLY want one)

Perhaps when I have fully attained the skill of drawing such complex models, I'll just rattle a 1960s Craven off during my coffee break

Railtechnician, Thanks for the feedback. The switch housings I have noticed have two sizes. I have many of the smaller ones from John Polley, so thought I'd manufacture the larger version. I live over the Pond, so even though I have many photos getting the model right is an art of approximation with not having easy access to the real thing. It is trivial to scale these to N, of course. I will try and get some detailed images on the trip arms you describe which should be easy to model. The main driver for this has been the desire to model some of the tube stock itself such as the Piccadilly 1973 TS which has been quite a learning curve with still a few kinks to be worked out before it goes to print.

It'll be nice to see it painted. Certainly looks like the profile's been captured.

Very nice: looks like the Miniature Exhibition at Acton will be dominated by 3D printing.

This is still a test production model which i will bring with me to Acton. I still need to collect some detailed info on the '73 TS to make the final copy which I'll do while I'm in the UK. Also, a fact finding mission on the A stock is planned. See you at Acton!!

Quality work as always Cyberman. It's making me more determined to get there this year. I just wish I had the time to work on something to bring but, with everything else that is going on, I fear I will be empty handed. Others models normally show my stuff up anyway!

Good Point. I am still going to make in N. Anyway I saw that the Radley models A60 has bad reviews, I think yours looks really good.

Can't wait to see the N scale version. Will you make it in 1:160 or 1:148?

I will make it in 1:148 but if you want a 1:160 then I don't see why not.

The number of them I have built means they are no trouble to me. They are not perfect but they are a nice model. If you have modelling experience they are fine. They might get a little upgrade soon...

The A stocks' got the look. I read somewhere that the running was a problem. Is it?

I suppose one of the great things about 3D printing is it makes hypothetical things like a 1960ts trailer remarkably easy to create!
