I do have a question, which is that some new little orange lights have been put between the rails and along the edges of the platform when you are going towards London at the Prince Regent station. There are whole long lines of them and you only see them at night, so maybe they are just picked up by the front lights of the train.
Visitors - so all sat at the front looking out - we were with said what are those and I didn't know.

I think it's to monitor movement of the viaduct during the adjacent CrossRail works.

I think there's some at Pudding Mill Lane too - another Crossrail site.

They're not actually lights. If you go to the western end of Prince Regent you'll see a small machine with a lens on it. If you wait long enough you'll see it move. It essentially watches for movement and reports back if something changes.
They do appear on the Underground every now and then. They had them at Kings Cross for a couple of years whilst the works were going on and occasionally you could see and hear them spin round to check in another direction.
