Some fantastic pictures! Thanks. Isn't it amazing how things turn out though. Some time ago there was a thread on here about the Chesham changeover trips involving MET Electric Locos and the MET Bogie stock. No-one seemed to have a picture then. I've now seen two in a week! Bizarre!

1st time I've ever seen a pic of a Met Bo-Bo- on the Ashbury stock too.

Great photos, they really are. I also like the Chesham set en route. There is something special about seeing a train where do don't normally expect to see it. I used to love the 4 car transfer trips to and from Wembley - Neasden.

Nice photos. Favorited it. Also, most of the pics seem to come from the subsurface lines...

There's an alarmingly-large number of excellent photographs to look at on this particular website! Should keep me amused for hours .... ! An excellent link - thanks for sharing it!

You are most welcome! It helps to be on various Forums (Fora?) and Groups.
I am so sad, aren't I!

I remember seeing a photo by J J Smith somewhere of two J 69's heading a loughton to brighton train through the disused platform at Shoreditch but this does not seem to be in the list of his stuff. Anyone know about it please?

"1st time I've ever seen a pic of a Met Bo-Bo- on the Ashbury stock too"
Could be that LU 150 brings this oppertunity up again, given the loaning of 'up to 6 coaches' from the Ashbury and Drednaught survivors.

thanks anyway phillw48, but suddenly realized that the pic you referred to is not by j j smith but brian pask. The one I meant was taken as it actually passed the down(disused ) platform at shoreditch (taken from the other platform)

Yes, I know the one you mean. It was a LCGB tour of the east London lines about 1954.

Some of the captions need updating. I don't think they're all correct.

They are not. 6-41-4 is actually at Liverpool Street and 1-31-2/3/4 are at Shoreditch with an ELL F stock train present.
