Are Crossrail and Thameslink going to be on the tube map?

Crossrail yes, Thameslink no... although both lines serve the same purpose... This might be because of TFL having some control of Crossrail whereas Thameslink is just a TOC that has a through London route...

That's a shame. Thameslink is not just another TOC, its through London route which makes it a key part of the London rail transit network. Yeah Thameslink'll be busy at peak times between Blackfriars & KXSP, but there'll be a lot of times when it won't, and TL'll be a useful additional route north-south thru London.

It's more a case of Thameslink coming back as it used to be on the Tube map from Kentish Town to Elephant & Castle/London Bridge.
Part of the reasoning behind Thameslink upgrade is helping reducing overcrowding on the Tube so it should be on the map. It could help relieve the Victoria and Northern lines.
Other point would be the Tube map is dead, it's the TfL Metro Map now in all but name. With the new joint TfL/NR map on the platforms now it's becoming the norm.
