Seemingly inspired by the Slavecoach moquette of madness....
Odd thing is that people get paid a lot of money to dream these things up.
On the bright side it hasn't replicated the 83ts.

I've seen those posters all over the Central Line and the Central Line only. Didn't think they'd get as low as sticking them in the train but on the bright side at least they brighten up the beige colour scheme.

What is the idea behind putting it on the seat? A replacement for the 'priority seat' pattern?

Get the message across i suppose. How many of the 92 stocks have now undergone the refresh?

Not sure, the train I was on last night had a set of refresh at each end.
I really don't see a lot of difference in it.....

So is it likely at this stage to wait on a central line platform and get a set of the refreshed stock come without a massive wait? I know it sounds sad but I'd love to go on one of the refreshed trains

I haven't actually been on an un refreshed one in a couple of months now, plenty of new seats out there now. I haven't noticed any improvement on the exterior paint work yet though.
On a slightly un related note, I saw a W&C unit with the new moquette the other day.

The W&C is getting the new moquette?

I haven't noticed any improvement on the exterior paint work yet though. I dunno what the actual effect is that they're looking to achieve, but one train is currently running around coated in a film. All I do know is it cannot be washed for 3 days (not too sure about how we stop it raining, but hey ho), and initially one train will be done over a weekend though they'll be ramping up to 3 a week in the future. EDIT: Meant to say.......the film is only being applied to trains that have had the updated window & interior work completed first.

I went on one of the refreshed 92 stocks today for the first time. I thing I did notice was that the lighting was the same. I thought the 92 stock was getting new lighting. Or am I wrong?

To clarify here...the refreshed trains have cleaned diffusers which means the same original lighting but noticeably brighter.
Everything on the 92ts has this weird effect of turning beige over time...

I didn't notice the cleaned diffusers I'm afraid. The 92 stock has always seemed particualrly dark and still did today. I have seen a picture of the 92 stock with modified lighting so there must be one out there on the network somewhere?

Everything on the 92ts has this weird effect of turning beige over time... I don't think the final colour scheme ended up being as white as the mock-up (which IMO looks a lot better!). The literature often describes the final colour scheme for the 1992 stock as 'ivory' but I guess this shade has just become beiger over the years! The 92 stock has always seemed particualrly dark and still did today. I have seen a picture of the 92 stock with modified lighting so there must be one out there on the network somewhere? That was a unit which under went experimentation with the lighting. You'll notice in this photo that the seating moquette hadn't been changed so it wasn't part of the current refresh scheme.

Have the lights been altered back then during this units actual refresh?

I prefer the beige over the pure white, the pure white looks too bright and the beige is far easier to sleep in
