Since the H'smith branch is closed on the Circle (also Royal Oak - Barking, effectively turning the H&C into a shuttle) due to engineering works at Edgware Road, how do Circle line trains access Hammersmith Depot tonight? Or will the trains be stabled underground?

Simply put, if they cannot access Hammersmith, the trains will be stabled elsewhere. Those trains being used will have had any planned maintenance carried out before being allocated to the service trains on Friday which end up stabling in locations away from Hammersmith. This means the trains should be fine to operate for the whole weekend.

No (well at least not until the S7s  ) Weekend services such as this weekend utilise the trains that are normally out-stabled at locations such as Farringdon, Moorgate and Barking. The trains will start from those areas, and will finish back at those areas. A large chunk of our service trains spend a day or more without going back "home" to depot. |

While we're at it, next weekend according to tfl.gov.uk, only the Hammersmith branch will be closed (Not HSK-Edgware Road). Are you restoring circular service or are you going to keep it all weird?

The circular service will return: Circle Line No service Hammersmith – Edgware Road. Trains will operate to the original circular service pattern. Trains will not stop at Farringdon. Hammersmith & City Line No service between Moorgate and Barking. Trains will not stop at Farringdon. |

MetControl, mind suspending the H'smith branch when the S stock is introduced so we can smash it upBut anyway, where were we? |
