Is LU going to make any alterations to services during the Live8 concert and the various marches for Make POverty Histroy campaign which London may be subject to over the coming couple of months?

Usually, with big events like this, the train service is monitored and altered as neccesary on the day. Spare trains may be provided - subject to rolling stock and driver availabillity.
The most effective method however, is what is known in the trade as station control. This takes many forms from, making a particular passage one way only, temporarily closing a platform, holding trains to fill them up - moving through all the options up to and including full station closure. Of course the options also depend on the type of event and wether it's the start or end. Stations like Hyde Park corner or Westminster have well practised methods for dealing with large events.

There will be Two extra trains on the Central line for Live8 - to be used as required. That said, they have a special timetable because of engineering works - so wether there's a reduced service or not, I don't know.
They will be the only extra trains laid on.

Where are they going to keep them? One at Marble Arch able to go in either direction at the end? ummmmmm
