Last weekend, the Jubilee Line & station management vacated the former Northern Line C&SLR surface building at London Bridge.
The building now looks like it is being prepared for demolition.
Last used for its intended purpose in 1967. Presumably some form of vent shaft & emergency access will be incorporated into the inevitable office development destined for the site.
So the only surviving C&SLR buildings will be Kennington and Moorgate, plus a heavily-modified Angel, and a tiny fragment at City Road.

Thanks for that Miff. I don't suppose there is any chance of it being listed?

Planning Permission decision here - moderngov.southwarksites.com/ieDecisionDetails.aspx?ID=1251So probably a bit late for listing. I had blithely assumed it was listed, on the basis that I'd thought it would have been easier to demolish it before building the bridge if they were going to demolish it...

Ordinarily yes, however I think the demolition of the building is more to do with an office development on the larger site, rather than as part of the Thameslink works. The process would be complicated because the building retained operational functions until 2 weeks ago, both as office accommodation and also as a vent shaft. I presumably even as I write the vent shaft has to be maintained, and will be maintained right through the rebuilding process. It is a shame the building could not be restored and incorporated into the development on the site.
