I can only assume this means the Asset Inspection Train will be making its first trip to Chesham?
Or is it just the TRT?
TFL are providing a replacement bus to Amersham.

The TRT (with 60ts pilots) was at Neasden yesterday so it is local. The RAT was also seen at Nth Harrow about an hour ago although I don't think that is the train that will be visiting Chesham as it has paths elsewhere.

"• The departure time of the bus from Chesham will be 9 minutes earlier than the normal train time." > > > Regardless of whether anyone is on it or not.
Do Chesham PAX generally turn up at the station 10 minutes early?? Dare one suggest that if a bus left Chesham at the proper time, there would be more PAX on it and less inconvenience to them?? I see little point in running a bus just to connect with a specific train if there is nobody on the bus.

Not really, last week there were only 2 people on one of the midday trains from Chesham. Would have been cheaper to give them both a taxi rather than run an 8 coach train. Then again you quite offten only get about 4 people on the midday 10 minute service from Watford.

Is the weed killing train formed from a pair of battery locos now with a flat wagon? I'm sure the 1938ts cars are withdrawn?
