Eating chocolate dessert on a speeding A stock may be a tad messy though! ;D ;D ;D

There is a proposed date and itiniary but obviously not being announced yet. The possible days are of course limited by the amount of weekend engineering that goes on these days and the need to visit most of the Met plus bits of a few neigbouring lines. It will be a full all-day tour as well.

If it is the weekend then I'm in. If not then I'm still in.

Are there any plans yet as to which cars the forum might colonise?

Fingers crossed it will be on one of my days off. If so - I'm in Got to give the old girls a good send-off.

11 December is the likely date. A rare Sunday when all the required lines are currently scheduled to be fully open, clear of engineering work. Also, to add to the fun, the first day of met wtt 331!

A good but sad day 11th Dec will be then, if the tour is on the 11th. Good because of the tour, and bad because of WTT331

Perhaps the units could be 5000+5321 or failing that 5000+5056! I'm certainly up for it!

I was thinking 5034, as that includes parts of 5008 which was part of the 1st train in service, since 5004 has gone

If it's the 11th I can go. If it's the 17th I can't. Everything is crossed at the mo!

I'd be up for the A Stock tour, alhough I have a feeling it'll be highly priced like the 67 stock one was. WTT331 is the new timetable which has rid of the fast running trains between Moor Park and Wembley park, isn't it?

Thats potentially a good thing for the tour though - more paths available for a belt on the fast. Lets hope nobody's too over frugal with the speed!

Good for the tour but thats about it, its sad because its farewell proper Met line services, it will be like any other tube line once all S stocks takeover, and the ATO.

Like Glyn, everything is now crossed! Some family are coming over from such a far place as... Snaresbrook and my parents are making a big deal out of it so, I hope its anyday but the 11th!
