Had the pleasure of walking home from Hillingdon last night (13th) as nothing was going anywhere.
Eastbound A Stock stopped at Hillingdon and could not proceed any further. Backed up behind was a Pic and another A Stock all going east. My Westbound Train (formed of 5094 + 5118) could not proceed as there was nowhere for it to go at Uxbridge station
Any ideas what occurred?

The train at Hillingdon eastbound was defective and could not gain movement for some time - depsite the best efforts of the driver. It had a Piccadilly train stuck behind it, plus all platforms at Uxbridge were full - although this was rectified a while into the delay.
Overall, the line was blocked for 28 minutes.

Do we know the unit(s) involved? Was it S stock or A stock?

It was A-stock but don't worry, the outcome of the investigation has revealed a fairly "simple" explanation - and not one that will lead the unit to be "next on the list."
I did have the unit numbers earlier, and meant to note them down. However I forgot and am currently away from the office.

Do we know the unit(s) involved? Was it S stock or A stock? No more than a guess but possibly 5034+5108, 5040+5163 or 5120+5227 given the formation changes I noticed yesterday?
