On the 27 May 2011 the British Postal Museum & Archive (BPMA) retrieved two stock rail cars, a 1927 and a 1930 car, from underground at Mount Pleasant Mail Centre, London. The work was carried out by the art freight movers Mtec, BPMA Curator Chris Taft and Royal Mail engineers. The units were transported to the BPMA Museum Store in Debden, Essex, where they can be seen at one of the scheduled events. Great that at least 3 bits of this unique system are going to be looked after... But to me it doesn't look good for the rest of it...

In addition, Greenbat car 21 (1980-82) has been at the Debden store since 18.04.08.
