They could glow the colour of the line they're operating on - and red when not in service! (Although then people would think it was a Central line train, hmmm)

Mind you what the S stock could do with, by looking at those photos are those handstrap things!

The handstrap attachments are not such a good idea! - remember when the strap hangers in pre-refurbishment trains used to disappear with regularity, having been stolen perhaps???

I think you should go the whole hog and make a completely sci-fi equipped system:
- Fully fledged light sabres to ward off the unruly passengers - Warp drive engines to speed up the trains up a bit - Transporters to move passengers to and from surface - save on escalators
I am sure that with a bit more thought additional ideas can be generated

Slightly off topic, but having been to Tokyo, I actually prefer the London Underground rolling stock. Tokyo's subway stock looks quite out-dated. In general, the subway lacks a lot of character.
The JR trains (IE, the Yamanote line) are fantastic, mind you.

I'd be chuffed if they had done that. I'm surprised they didn't when Celebration Europe was held at ExCel

Hmm. Apparently the usual riders of the Tokyo Subway don't steal handgrips... But they should definitely remove those, to slightly increase the capacity. (And removing the seats will help on the most congested lines requiring those pusher guys)
