.................Interesting vid of trains on a viaduct powered by overhead wires. I'd say it's in the approach to and leaving the Liverpool St area in east London. Though I'm not certain. Anyway, I'm sure all the spotter buffs will know what kind of trains they are and can have great fun debating their origins........." It's a Timex Class 56.7 with Tesco brakes built in '97 by Sheena Easton in Scunthorpe " - " Oh no, it's not!" comes the riposte " It's A Persil Class 464 with as you say Tesco brakes but it was built in '95 up in The Orkneys by Pauline Quirk"..................Well, let the debate rage, and you have fun now..............
But hey! Wot's this? It's Marcel Marceau *from the hood* in his trade mark stripy T Shirt and snap brim dancing like a chicken on a hot plate disguised as a giant 7" record hogging the view of those trains. It is Marcel isn't it? "No?" I don't believe it, it can't be, it's.....................

This is following a debate earlier about Olly Murs ;D I love the way at the start it sounds liek Rick Astley though!
Also, I think that's a c2c between Limehosue and West Ham. Best shot is about 20 seconds from the end.

I saw this on TV the other day, very dark vibe but some great shots of the underground.

Guess what Alan. I've got a couple of UNKLE albums, purchase on-line when I was in one of my more insane modes. I think I've only ever played em once each on account that just like the music in the video, they are a complete digital dirge. But unlike the likes of the *Brilliant Olly Murs* it's original dirge. Composed and performed by themselves, unlike the Karaoke "artists" from the bowel of Cowell. Compose, perform, hawk around find popularity or not, get a recording deal < The stuff of real talent................
I'm not sure about that gloomy vid though. Its looks rather quite on what I assume is the Northern Line. Especially when the Northern Line suddenly becomes the Circle which in my experience is never quite. Maybe she changed somewhere to get away from those pesky ants that seemed to have caused a chocolate machine malfunction. Sitting alone in an empty Circle Line carriage indeed. Which means let the bint get up to some anti-social behaviour. Yeah, no one's looking! Feet on seats - check. Pulling out the tape from her jammed cassette player ( HUH! - when was this made, or when was it supposed to be?) and no doubt leaving it all over the seats and floor - check. And I bet she was considering going up behind the driver's cab door, sticking her fingers down her throat, chucking up, and letting it run under as the musical dirge accompanies the driver's howl of outrage - triple check.....................
I'm off to play some Ladytron on my radiogram...............

I just assumed it was in Basildon as that's where Olly Murs is from but it's only now I look closer that I've realised it is in fact in London. That's the C2C so it has to be somewhere between West Ham & Fenchurch Street (perhaps around the Limehouse Area).
Edit: Decided to check Google Maps and it's a newly built Skate Park on St Pauls Way, Poplar (near Limehouse Station).

Maybe she changed somewhere to get away from those Defintely the Northern - look at the line diagrams as she arrives on the platform. the line diagrams suggest Mornington Crescent, but the station name roundels are frustratingly out of focus - of course it may have been filmed at more than one station. The clock on the headwall is also out of focus but appears to say 0452 (possibly 0652) which explains why it's so quiet (and also why she looks moire than half asleep........). I think the final shots are not on the Circle but at Whitechapel, before the recent remodelling. Where else would you get two island platforms, with C stock in one of the centre roads, and what appears to be D stock outside it? (I thought of Aldgate, with the D stock crossing Minories Junction, but the Circle Line there uses the outer platforms - the inners are normally used by A stock). The film is of course being run in reverse, as the red tail lights on the C stock are coming towards you!

Comment on YouTube says Hampstead, which may be true for the lifts section. The platform roundel says Mornington Crescent (and one is deliberately blanked in a reflection from the 95 stock - so perhaps they didn't want us to know...) The last bit, agree with norbitonflyer, but what was up with the seat moquette on the C stock?

Is it 95TS - looks more like C stock to me? EDIT: that's the tame version - it isn't the one where she's found seemingly dead from excess with grey hair by the cleaner at ??OP.

Here's one for you:
Many shots of Angel Station as the video was shot around there (song's about Angels) and then you can see what looks like a CL313 or 315 pass through the background which I'm guessing is somewhere between Finsbury Park & Drayton Park on FGW Northern City Line due to where the video is filmed.

Comment on YouTube says Hampstead, which may be true for the lifts section. Certainly isn't Hampstead, as the lifts there don't have the electronic displays inside - neither do any other traction lifts on the Edgware branch, unless they've changed in the last 3 weeks that I've been on leave!

It's almost certainly a 313 - it's not a 315 as they are 4car sets and this train looks as if there are cabs at the rear of the 3rd and front of the 4th cars. There's a glimpse of a pantograph so it's not a 507 or 508. It could be a 314 but why go all the way to Glasgow? But it must be north onf Finsbury Park as it's clearly shot in a station car park level withy the track, and neither DPk nor FPk have one, Cuffley is a possibility

Well, they've used their sampled sources to come up with dirge that's 100% sampled in a way that's unique to them. Still don't like it though. However at least it hasn't gone through the bowels-of-Cowell karaoke musical mincer, yet............ "Too many notes." Xcrement contestants please note. It's not necessary to sing a song by inserting notes in the melody that are not there. Or to do the scales, or to sing as song like one is having a tooth filling done without anaesthetic. Or that young bird who karaokes a song like she's being goosed........Ooooowah, Ooooowah............... "Too many notes." This bloke should be on Xcrement factor, to do some "mentoring" - whatever that might be..........
