Alighting at Barbican this morning I noticed some workmen up to something on the disused platform on the south side of the station. Anybody know what's going on? Are those tracks going to be brought back into use?

Are those tracks going to be brought back into use? I'm sure someone has done a thread but is it not to do with Crossrail and the use of the old tracks for stabling SSR trains. Paul |

Looks as if the "works" have now finished. All they were doing was putting up some heavy duty cable supports along the far wall.
