According to the TFL website... "Severe delays are occurring between Queen's Park and Harrow & Wealdstone due to heat related temporary speed restrictions." What exactly is the heat affecting? Is it the track, juice rails or something else?

I'm sure these heat restrictions happen at lower temperatures than they used to. At one time, it seemed to be 32C plus when the problems kicked in. Now it seems to be 28C plus!

It happens on national rail too. Must be that cheap rail they get from Poland or wherever!

It happens on national rail too. According to the announcement at Harrow & Wealdstone, it was a track fault at Stonebridge Park and it also affected the London Overground service. So it wasn't the 'normal' heat related speed restrictions during hot weather.
