Is it the Liverpool Street one? I was there (not on a train though) and there was plenty of smoke and we all got evacuated. I wonder if it was an S stock? No, it was C Stock train.

I was on the outer rail platform when I heard the C stock on the inner rail pull away, then stop suddenly. The driver opened the doors, and then it sat there for a while. I crossed over to investigate, and smelt the smouldering smell (like something had burnt out, it wasn't brake dust). After a few minutes, the train was tipped out, with the driver coming down the train to find out more. Once he got to the rear carriage, the decision was made to evacuate the SSR platforms. The Central line carried on operating though. The S stock (train 443) was held at Aldgate for the duration, and was thus 25 mins late running to Watford.
