I guessed the blanked bit over the top of the escalators would actually be glass

I'd say A is Victoria before the new lights on the escalators were fitted.

A is on the Victoria Line but isn't one of the stations that has been mentioned yet.
ps: the version of image A posted by SE13 yesterday morning is not modified.

SE13, I guess Seven Sisters is better than it being a Tottenham related station If only White Hart Lane was a LOROL station hehe. So, A is a Victoria line station, 4 have been mentioned, so its a case or narrowing down.... Could it be Pimlico... Could mention the rest, but that'd spoil the fun Could B be Victoria Line too? I'll stab at Tottenham Hale again

There can't be too many Victoria Line stations left to guess at now, so unless I've missed a post, it's a process of elimination now! And no, it cuts me to the core having to enter the "T" word as an answer - Me and them don't see eye to eye - But we're all a common theme here, and don't forget Colin is a unhappy Hammer, and I get on just fine with him

jmm's dart has hit the map at the right point - A is the escalators at Vauxhall. There are no other Victoria line stations in this set.

OK- the link- even though I'm nearly always wrong. And I haven't been to greenwich or South Ruislip. But my guess is that at all except S Ruislip, the non- BR line is below the other line, at S Ruislip it's all same level.

Not quite, although BR (or however you wish to refer to it) has got something to do with the link.

Norbitonflyer - that's true, but not relevant to the link. C is the Mumbles lifeboat in Swansea marina (click for a larger version)

is the link that all apart from the odd one out have a BR station with a London terminus, where as Kentish Town doesnt? St Pancras International & London Bridge? Perhaps its that all the NR lines that pass through these stations except the odd one out, end in London.
