I've often wondered when the very last crew operated train - in passenger service - ran, and was the occasion marked in any way. Is there any data pertaining to the percentages of guards who Became TO's Moved to another area of LU Went on the buses Left the job totally Is it feasible that a future Mayor of London might decide that OPO tube trains are not safe and order LU to reintroduce crew operation.

Presumably the outings of the 38ts still operate with a crew of 2; and they're in passenger service

Presumably the outings of the 38ts still operate with a crew of 2; and they're in passenger service But that's 2 Test Train Operators as opposed to a Train Operator and Guard, as worked the last 59TS on the Northern Line.
