There were delays and suspensions yesterday due to "flooding" so I presume this was the cause.

There were delays and suspensions yesterday due to "flooding" so I presume this was the cause. The service messages all said ' the Bakerloo Line is part suspended' and occasionally you'd get 'due to flooding at Charing Cross' (myself and AI did KXStP - Bank - Waterloo - Westminster - Mansion House) yesterday afternoon - we needed to meet up with some friends otherwise I'd have nipped up for a quick grice of the Paddington crossover in use.

What made me grin was that it started as suspended up to Oxo, them up to Padd, then up to QPark, then back to Padd and Oxo and finally fully reopened. Was the tide going in and out?

It was suspended Piccadilly Circus to Elephant and Castle according to the announcements I heard at West Ham and Canning Town. Didn't hear (or didn't hear well enough to understand) any detail (or anything at all in some cases) at other locations despite travelling Cyprus-Canning Town-Stratford-Leytonstone, Leyton Midland Road-Barking-Upminster and Upminster-West Ham-Canning Town-Gallions Reach.

I was around and the sections of the bakerloo that were open changed as much as... well something that changes alot. But the LFB were still investigating about 6pm when I left London. The T'Op (who was a right east london geezer) told us all this was due to a 'ffffifiiiarrrrrrr breeeeeeegaayyydeeeee' investigation O/T This Central TOP was such a laugh which his geezer accent

Some SB trains seemed to be using Kilburn High Road for reversing and also coming into platform 4 at QP to turn around there, this caused some knock on delays with LO which is a bit unfortunate. Surely theres a better way to handle this?

Apparently some contractors were working on the area around the fountains and they didn't turn off the water supply first. Then someone cut the pipe and it all went into the station. Made a lot of mess!

Made a lot of mess! Seems the fault lies with Mitie Engineering, they carry out work on the pumping system for the GLA. They took out the CCTV and the traffic lights too.

Surely theres a better way to handle this? C'mon: can you honestly say that this was expected? Bear in mind that you could not 'lose' the trains off to London Road Depot, and there's only so many paths into Stonebridge Park - which couldn't hold every displaced train anyway. I think considering the scale of the disruption it was handled remarkably well, and accept that there was no 'better way'.

How many trains would they have had to find stabling for if access to London Road had remained unavailable until after close of traffic?
