According to BBC website a massive re-development of Earls Court area planned proposed - and it looks like it also includes Lillie Bridge depot site! Will it be built over (like the triangle sidings) ? Or completely replaced? (and with what?)

Weren't there plans to stable a majority of the new S stocks at Lillie Bridge that the Circle, H&C, and District will be using?

I wouldn't have thought so - the maximum number of stabling points at Lillie Bridge for passenger trains is 10....Barking sidings holds 14 (off the top of my head - certainly more than 10 anyway).
I dunno what Hammersmith's capacity is but I'm pretty certain it is also far more than 10.
If you include them, Upminster & Ealing Common depots both have triple the capacity available at Lillie Bridge.

It was never gonna be the majority; theres over 100 S7s coming, 80 alone for the District, and only.... 9/10??... roads at Lillie? Its the practical replacement for some of Triangle. Ish. Edit; beaten to it

Are any sidings remaining at PG? Absolutely!! 29 road (the one behind the westbound platform) is only long enough for C stocks - given that it would require extending over the road outside the station, I reckon it's safe to say that will be lost. There is also another road whose number I can't remember but it's accessed off 24 road - how can I describe it to non road trained people?........ - 24 road is on the far right hand side looking west from the station; the road I'm referring to comes off this back towards the station. In any case, it's only an engineers siding as it isn't long enough for any passenger stock; I can see that going too. Other than those two, all roads at PG easily take D stock and so they only require slight changes to the walk boards and stopping marks to take account of the small difference in length of S stocks over D stocks.

Is it 32 road off 24? Quail identifies it as something like that, but the writing is squashed. Formerly used for 2car portions to wait for the peak before 1971.
The sidings were the only part of the powers used from the scheme to extend to Sutton in the 20s. Parts of this section were to have been 4-tracked, instead sidings came. When Chelney comes it'll be interesting to see the junction it makes around here as it would be extremely foolish to make it flat. Perhaps 29 road may make a come back as a through track yet.

31 road comes off 24 road (rte 1). 30 road used to come off 23 road but has long gone. 31 road is just about long enough for a battery loco, not that i'd attempt it looking at the state of 31 roads sleepers. ;D
