No 67 stock out today That's the second time that's happened now. There was only one out yesterday too according to a previous post. This Saturday will be my last chance to ride on the Vic before Friday 27th May, when the last 67 to Walthamstow will run. I wonder if there will be any 67's out this Saturday?

Same, the tickets are actually quite big (just to fill the envelope? ) and slightly inaccurate as I'm sure the District line is being visited. They've gone out to town on these tickets though, it's like they're an advertisement rather than a ticket!

Interesting how they put 'seat' numbers on it - seeing as the seats will be a free-for-all!

The enclosed document states it is to regulate numbers in each car.

Picked off another gen site...
As some of you may know the 1967 stock on the Victoria line has been largely replaced by 09stock, so in their final weeks only a few are running,
78+75 03+62 76+58 59+79 60+61 85+34

PS: The letter does say "There will still be an opportunity to travel the Victoria line by '67 stock until late June early July" - so anyone not on the tour will still have some time yet

Incidentally, does anyone have details of the new Vic timetable? Is it a new WTT, ot just a TTN? It would be good to know the paths which the 67's will be able to run on, to make looking for our needle in a haystack a bit easier! Am also hoping the last 67 to Walthamstow on the 27th will be an evening run, so that a few of us are able to get down there after work.

I can't make the tour, but am in The City the following weekend so will be going hunting! I would say your chances of catching one that weekend will be virtually zero. There may well be a couple more 09's available by then, which will pretty much put paid to the 67's at weekends. However, they may feel nostalgic and run a few!

No 67 stock out today At least one 67 stock managed to slip out late on Monday. The depot people wanted my 09 stock, so I had to switch trains during a lay-over.

I can't make the tour, but am in The City the following weekend so will be going hunting! For me, it's exactly the same scenario, except that I'll be coming up from Austria, which, I believe, is a little bit further away... So I really, really hope that they'll give those who can only visit on weekends a chance to see some 67 Stock trains for the last time... It can't be "requested" anywhere, can it?

It would seem there are plans for some form of special staff trips on both these days, but details are a bit vague at the moment. I presume the Walthamstow-Blackhorse Road resignalling remains set to go ahead on 28th/29th May.

It will most likely be in service, there was talk previously of another 'last' tour covering rare crossovers and sidings but this isn't going to happen now.
