This diagram shows the proposed sections and feeds arrangement for my model layout. I've based the diagram on the drawings included in the few traffic circular supplements I have, so I haven't had that much to go on. One of my concerns is whether the substation feeds to the branch are believable; or would feeds only go to the ends of section lengths? I am hoping to fit the substation building in between the main and branch on the layout, so I don't want to move the feeds too far from where they are now. If you could point out any other definate no-nos on the diagram I should much appreciate it. James

Admin comment - this almost belongs in the Sigs/Sims/modelling category, but seeing it is asking for info from 'real life' signallers etc., I'll leave it here so they can see it.

It looks fine to me - however I've only got angelislingtons copy of the Jubilee TC supplement from 1979 to go on - all mine are away home in Wales.
From memory (of the umpteen others) it looks quite plausible - presumably the yellow section is just sidings with the mauve and brown sections being the branch?
Have you thought about rail gap indicators for the branch? Near to the EB branch junction home and between the blue section and mauve sections on the WB branch.

I'm glad you can remember the colours from the patterns, I can't and I draw the damn things!
I'm not too sure about the composite blue/brown section on the EB main, and I would also expect RGIs for the branch. Also, perhaps consider putting the sidings on a separate section, fed continuously (complete with RGIs again)?
