I know that signal cabins have a switch where they can turn off the diagram, is this the same for the control rooms Earls Court/Cobourg St/Baker St?

Thanks RT I don't know why the operators would want to turn off the diagram in a control room other than repairs etc, I know some signal cabins could also dim the diagram.

Some IMRs also have a diagram on/off switch - Mansion House and Seven Sisters spring to mind as two examples.
Edgware Road has got a bright/dim switch for the diagram, but at Baker Street the diagram can only be turned off by powering down the Interface between the Computer System and the diagram.
