My T/Op said signalling problems in the White City area again, they weren't letting people in at Leyton as par usual. Walked to Stratford and boarded a rammed Central Line Tube to be greeted with a passenger emergency alarm...
I can't stand it when people call in sick to work using the PEA.

Yes, weren't there. An intermittent track failure between Leyton and The Stone on the east right in the middle of the early peak resulting in huge gaps and delays. At one point I running up an down like a headlesss Olly Murs with a shoe horn trying to prise em in. Though I did show mercy. One guy was so desperate to get on he stuck his footsie in the doors at Mile End. Normally a sin as bad as the kebab behind the cab door. But, after ten times of breathing in and out into my emergency brown paper bag I reopened with this PA "The only reason I've reopened for you is so your fellow passengers can share your hat. They all look as though they could do with a good laugh" The offending head gear was a pink plaid snap brim that the wearer though he could get away with. On my chariot!!?? Yeah, sure, like we all go around with a raspberry blancmange plopped on our heads..............

I got on one of those rammed trains at Mile End. I had to get off at Liverpool Street, which was easier said than done. The platform was packed back to the wall and passengers were still coming down the escalator. Very unsafe. When I mentioned the situation to station staff upstairs, I was ignored and waved away. So I went away.

I must admit I do say what's going through my little mind without thinking. I tend to come right out with it and sometimes think " I wish I never said that, 'cos boy, that bloke looks big" So I get to somewhere like Ealing Bdy and run and hide in the staff toilets until all is clear. Problem with that is you can bet your bottom Zloty that before I reach sanctuary I meet a District Line driver coming out of said bog. A delay in my quest for safety ensues as I get down on one knee and kiss his ring saying something like. "My liege, I am not worthy" To which they usually reply. " No, no you're not".......The hat though was well rubbish and deserved the comment............
