I used a mix of citadel paints and humbrol. Basically, I sprayed the body Skull White. Then masked the bottom trim. Get a really good masking tape like tamiya and spray Humbrol French Blue on. The roof and doors/fronts were painted with Blood Red and the roof painted Fortress Grey. When painting add lots of thin layers on so you get a neat flat colour, especially important with the red. The railings come moulded on and I painted them silver. My later A stocks have had replacement railings added. I did add LUL logos on the side and the car numbers. I've got units 5056 5112 and 5234. 5159 is in the pipeline. The logos can be bought from modelmaster: www.modelmasterdecals.com/LT_Underground.phpI used a gloss varnish on the body of the train, but avoid the underframe and roof as these aren't so shiney! Good luck, if you have any questions please PM me or ask on this thread. Take your time too.
