When this station was first opened, access was built on both sides of the tracks at both ends of the station. However the north side has always been barricaded off and so far never used.
Does anyone have any idea if/when this side will be opened up?
I've tried emailing DLR Customer Services on this and haven't had even the courtesy of an acknowledgement, let alone any useful reply!

This is pure speculation, but the general trend has been docksides moving away from industrial usage and towards public access. Given this it's not inconceivable that the same will happen to the plot of land north of King George station, and building the access at the time of station construction would be cheaper and less disruptive than doing so later.
How long ago did you email customer services? My experience is of getting no acknowledgement but a reply 2-3 weeks later.

Emailed them a couple of weeks ago, so maybe I won't give up hope yet!
