Just make them dirty! Weathering hides a multitude of sins....
Cyberman, any film of your surface stock? I'm sure I saw a MET Electric loco in the background!

Correct. At the moment we're working on 1960 stock. The idea is both designs will fit on the EFE 1959/62 stock chasis as the bogies are broadly similar as is the length. It then means most of the hard work is done for the modeller. All you have to do is fit the one piece body to the chasis, paint and fit the glazing! It is not an easy body shape to make, but we'll get there.... Must admit I'm quite surprised Radley or Metromodels hadn't done the Cravens 1960 drivers before now - though as you say it's not the easiest. You can run: Silver ones with standard trailers Silver ones with red 38/59/62 trailers Red one with red 38/59/62 trailer ...and for the serious bashers you have both ends of Track Recording Unit Plenty of potential from just one bodyshell.

Glyn, You did see a MET electric and it probably deserves more attention than it gets. I'm working on laying more surface rail which will enable more running of this and other surface stock (yet to be built).

... Like you've not given it a run already! What paint did you use for the main colour on it as mine is at the painting stage and I want to get it right as, if finished, it may make an appearance at the 'Red Lion & Pineapple' in March!

Glyn, I painted the MET BoBo about 20 years ago, but will try and find what I used. Likely it was Tester's paint as close a match I could find for what was called for.
