Thanks for that,Robert........always liked that bit of "Metroland"....... Shades of the Bonzo Dog Doo-Da Band there, wouldn't be surprised if they were the backing musicians. There's another track I've been meaning to find, from "Metroland" something like "Let us build a little home" Oh.and Good Luck,by the way!

Thanks very much, Robert! An excellent find and post.
According to the "Metro-Land" liner notes, the backing was done by 'The Ron Watford Sound'.

Nice one, Robert! ;D
Thanks for posting this!
I'd always wondered where the backing song for Neasden on 'Metroland' had come from!

I knew it was recorded by Eddie Cantor but never found the actual "MetroLand" version until now, thanks rhubarbrhubarb

This one might be moving a bit off-topic .... though it does have an Underground station link! A splendid recording of "Life Begins at Oxford Circus", played by Jack Hylton and His Dance Orchestra.

The Buster Keaton film is 'One Week' which was his first solo short comedy release. It is worth looking out for in its entirety as it is a piece of genius.
