Today coming in to Harrow OTH obviously because of 'Engineering works' up the line the siding at Harrow was being used alot today and on my first trip in coming from the west a unit in the siding had a shoebeam. It definitely wasnt the RAT car as it had end windows didnt get the number though, etched graffiti blocking the view ! Turns out LUL closed the line because of the TBTC testing on the new part up to Stanmore including a part of the met!

There are a few of this about. These are the de-icing trailers. The bogies are modified, one with a shoebeam that I think has a proximity sensor and delivery pipe and the other bogie has a sleet brush I think. The cars that have these modifications are: 6000, 6004, 6058-6122 and 6234 (which I am currently making a model of at the moment). Note 6118 has a slightly different system which I am yet to understand. Hope this helps. www.flickr.com/photos/24772733@N05/4624597723/in/set-72157606546830412/

I realise it was probably a typing error, but it's 6088 to 6122 (even numbers only).
