Can anyone help what room was used for the OM and did this continue until the present day or does the current equivalent reside elsewhere knowing that the building has had a number of refurbs over the years.

I think the Chief Operating Manager (Railways) was in 226, or in an office off of it (226 I think was the reception). Later it was moved to room 238, by which time the title was Operations Director (Railways). Both were on the 2nd floor, east wing at 55 Broadway.
I assume the equivalent is now on the 7th floor of the Ivory Tower??

I worked there for many years in 222 - but had to think hard about which room the bosses were in. It's not somewhere you wanted to go, too frequently!!
